Chair yoga is a great form of exercise for older adults who have difficulty with balance or want to improve their strength. Chairs can provide stability or make exercise easier for a beginner. The movements typically involve sitting in the chair while stretching and holding poses or standing and using the chair for balance. Chair yoga has many benefits and can help one to regain flexibility, strengthen muscles, improve balance, relieve stress, reduce the risk of falls and boost energy levels.
