Monday, April 16:30—7:30 PMJohnson AuditoriumHaverhill Public Library 99 Main Street, Haverhill, MA, 01830

It's easy to drift through high school, just checking off graduation requirement boxes. But you can actually get a head start on your college or work career by taking advantage of any available flexibility to focus classes and assignments on topics you're actually interested in. As a side benefit, you may enjoy your classes more.

Part of our 4 part College Like a Rockstar series.

Presented by Heidi Shaw - Heidi Shaw is a teacher, researcher, advisor, mentor, and Pentucket graduate. She earned her doctorate in research design with an emphasis on animal and human communication. Dr. Shaw has been teaching and advising at the community college level for more than 25 years. She regularly involves students as assistants with her research. Whether in the classroom or the lab, her ultimate goal remains: to empower students to discover their passions and chart their own meaningful paths.
