Learn the basics of clay animation in this hands-on 7 week class with local filmmaker, and animator Tim Smyth.

Students will work in groups to come up with ideas for scenes, and learn to make simple characters out of clay, paper, or whatever is available, and bring them to life, frame by frame, with Stop Motion Animation.

The 7th and final class will be a premier of the final films for friends, and family.

No prior experience necessary. All materials, and equipment will be provided. While we will shoot the animation on computers, this is not computer animation, or CGI.

For those in grades 6-12.
